I'm not going to write about Keane nor about U2. I was just thinking about this 'Special Philippines Edition' tag that is use to promote a cd. I don’t like it and I don't feel good about it.
Why? Because there is nothing really special about it. In fact it is 'unspecial.' It simply means reduced booklet or no booklet. So why put the name of the country on such an 'unspecial' product. Why can’t those marketing people responsible, simply place on the front cover or better on the shrink wrap, “low price” or “budget price” or “compact price” or “affordable price” ( like they used to ) because that’s just what it really is.
